Final Countdowns...

It will be our final week on updating the blog, since Pn Rosnafizah have decided to start the presentation on 2-4 oct 2007. We're in the final touch completing the entire findings after lots of researchings, meet and interviewed with the subject. We've work in a team to complete our task. As a team leader, i would like to thanked my members for the supports. Instead the subject itself have given the appropriate answers and full commitments in guiding us to complete our given task. We would like thanked Malaysia Book of Excellency for the support and encouragement by giving ideas and knowledge in the business prespective areas. For the final presentation, there will a powerpoint slides and also some website's link to be presented for the students in the class. We're going to explain details about the business processes and recommendations on BPR towards the selected process.

Preparing for Final Finding

On week 11, after completion of template we are at detailed process design phase. At this phase we need to identify new process structure, tecnology structure, and organization structure to support the computerised faxing system. Lately, all of us are working hard to give the best ending for this project.

Completion of Templates :)

On week nine , we had discussed with the company about our suggestions we had identify through the templates created for the company to improve their business process . Besides that, we had put forward the assumptions, ideas, challenges ,options and also recommended some solutions through our research and findings. It has been a wonderful conversation between the company and us . We had exchange our inputs and also explain about the excepted outcome for business process. In the end, we have concluded that this computerised faxing system would help the subject to enhance its business process . Besides that, we have done our second presentation where it covers the progress as well as the company's business process structure.

On week 10 which is after the presentation ,we have completed the templates.

Before Holiday Break Progress

First we from Infinity Group would like to wish Happy 50th Merdeka. Last week was our holiday break for one week starting on 25th august till 2nd september.Before the holiday break we had discuss about our contents that are inserted into a template form and also regarding our second presentation that will be after the holiday break. Indeed we have discuss what to include in our presentation.

Problem Issues & Group Progress

From our interview session with the subject, we had understand how the company manages their advertising business. Each process or step that is needed to run the business has been identified. From our studies about the company business function and activities we had identified a business process which has been their current problem where we could plan to reengineer or redesign it.

The current problem of the company is that the staff are performing manual faxing to send relevant business documents to particular third parties. Therefore they are facing problems like time and money constraints.

So INFINITY plan to redesign this process into Computerized Faxing System. We will come out with the system's progress from time to time in our blog.


Note : We are currently on preparing template for high level process redesign which consists of assumption surfacing and idea generation steps.

Our group will meet a few representatives from the chosen company on 8th August. We are expecting a good and satisfactory response or feedback from them. As for our side, we had prepared a list of questions for them. As mentioned in our earlier post we have a few categories of questions to be ask.

• We had came out with our own methodology, INFINITY METHODOLOGY as displayed above.

• For the planning phase, we had prepared an official letter to be submited to the selected company. (The letter will be submitted to Pn.Rosnafisah on 27/7 for approval purpose) .

• In addition, we tentatively plan to visit the company on 3rd August 2007(Friday).

1. A group of five was formed (Veny, Ashvinie, Kiran, Siti )and named 'Infinity' by the leader Ram.

Well, it took sum time to start posting as we're in a very busy schedules. Just bear in mind that We gonna publish lot's of interesting stuffs soon in the Blog...

‘INFINITY’ is the name and was created by five of us and was lead by Ram.


Why blog? It's an given task by Pn Rosnafisah, our IT & BPR subject’s lecturer. It was assigned to us on the second week of class. That's when the idea of crafting ‘INFINITY’ came up and here we are trying our level best to bring it to life. How do we do it? We voice out our mind and thoughts as well as our daily habitual. More over.. our project details will be updated with great stuffs to share among readers..

However, all of us do find blogging is kind of interesting plus beneficial. It does help us enhance our teamwork ability and in addition it’s fun too.
